2006 STORM DRAFT HQ
The Storm used its three picks in the 2006 WNBA Draft on April 5 to fill
three different needs
. In the first round, the Storm added a backup small forward in Connecticut's Barbara Turner, who impressed Storm Coach Anne Donovan with her performance in the NCAA Tournament and the WNBA's Pre-Draft Camp. Florida's Dalila Eshe was the Storm's 25th overall pick in the second round. A versatile post with good size, Eshe will compete in the frontcourt to make the roster. With the 39th pick, the Storm got a potential first-round pick in Texas Tech point guard Erin Grant.
