Muggsy Visits Winston-Salem

Bogues and Felton sign autographs for fans
The Carolinas Caravan made its second stop on Tuesday, September 27 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The day began with a visit to Wiley Middle School by Sting Head Coach Muggsy Bogues and Bobcats guard Raymond Felton. The duo spoke to students about the importance of education and believing in themselves.

After lunch with the Bobcats Organization’s Winston-Salem television affiliate, WUPN, the caravan then moved on to Forsyth Medical Center where Bogues, Felton and Bobcats Radio Color Analyst Henry Williams colored with children and helped them assemble puzzles.

The final stop of the day was Hanes Mall, where over 100 fans were waiting for autographs and photos. While signing autographs, Bogues, Felton and Williams made guest appearances on Bobcats affiliate, WSJS, who held a live radio remote from the mall.

The Bobcats and Sting will take the Caravan to Raleigh on Thursday, where Bobcats guard Matt Carroll, Director of Player Programs Dell Curry and Sting guard Helen Darling will visit Duke Children’s Hospital and hold a youth basketball clinic at the Hillsborough YMCA.
