The Trader Joe's "Hoops for Hunger" campaign is here in LA!

For every Sparks 3-point basket made at STAPLES center during the 2010 regular season, Trader Joe's will donate $75 as part of their initiative to combat hunger.
All proceeds benefit the
National Veterans Foundation Feeds L.A. Homeless Program.

Trader Joe’s does pretty much everything with a twist of adventure and spirit. So they’ve challenged the Sparks to join in the fight against hunger by performing at peak levels. It’s a win-win for everyone! Plus, it’s a whole lot of fun.

National Veterans Foundation Feeds L.A. Homeless Program distributes shelf-stable, nutritious food to homeless men and women in Los Angeles areas with high populations of people living on the streets, in places like downtown L.A.’s Skid Row, the Strand in Santa Monica, and areas of West Hollywood and Long Beach.
