SCHOLANDA...ON KIM

How did you and Kim first meet?
"We were drafted together. We came out of college together and were drafted to the same team. So, right off the jump we took pictures together. When we got here, we were roommates and we shared a car. So we got to know each other pretty well."

How close are the two of you now?
"Were still pretty close. I think were closer now than even when we first got here. Were roommates on the road. I love her to death. We have a lot in common, so were pretty close."

Whats her best quality on the court?
"Her best quality is definitely her shooting. The other day I asked to borrow some of her arc that she has on her shot. I just love watching her shoot because she has a nice high, arcing rainbow of a shot. It seems like it takes forever for it to come down and when it does, it doesnt touch anything. It just goes right through the rim. That has to be her best quality. And after that, her toughness shes tough. I remember our rookie season in training camp, guarding her, I was like, 'oh my god, this girl is going to kill me. Shes going to beat me up and kill me!' [Laughs] Shes just strong, mentally and physically. Shes a tough player."

Whats her best quality off the court?
"Off the court I think shes just a really good person. Shes one of those people that you can talk to about anything. Shes super cool. You can go talk to her about anything and shes there. Id say thats one of her best qualities as a person."

How would you describe her style off the court?
"Really laid back and natural."

How would you describe her style on the court?
"Gritty and just tough. Like I said before, shes one of those players thats not afraid to go in there and get her hands dirty, bang around, get a broken nose and stuff, for the sake of the team. [Laughs] Shes just a tough player and shes not scared to get out there."

Do you know what her favorite food is?
"Thats a tough one. Shes a health nut, I know that."

What is something she eats regularly?
"Rice cakes! She eats rice cakes a lot. She actually got me started on trying some, and theyre not that bad. I always had this thing against rice cakes, they were just bland and disgusting, but she had some one time and I tried them and they were pretty good, so I actually started eating them for a little while. Until I got tired of them. [Laughs] I think rice cakes are probably one thing she eats the most. I would have to guess Mexican as one of her favorite foods. Its mine, so I know we eat it a lot. I dont know if shes just being nice because I like it a lot, or if she likes it, too." [Laughs]

Whats one of your favorite memories of hanging out with her?
"Wow, I would have to say road trips. Just sitting in our rooms talking about stuff life, basketball. Like I said, were roommates every time we travel. We go eat together after shootaround, before the games, after the games. So we spend a lot of time just talking about stuff, and thats something that I enjoy the most."

How close are the two of you now?
"Pretty close. Last year we roomed together. We got a lot closer this last year."

What is her best quality on the court?
