WNBA.com spoke recently with Jackson about her travels in the game and her favorite things to do when she's on the road.
Dot-com: You're a native of Australia, but you've played in the States for a while now and you've played overseas in Russia and Korea. Where's the most exciting place you've been to play basketball?
Jackson: "Russia would definitely be one of them. I had a great time in Seoul, too it was awesome. Those are probably my two favorite."
Dot-com: What about outside of basketball? Where is the coolest place you've been?
Jackson: "Probably America. I haven't been anywhere else too exciting. Hawaii was a nice treat at the end of last season. But I haven't really vacationed that much at all."
Dot-com: What's one place you haven't yet been to that you'd really like to visit?
Jackson: "I hadn't been to Hawaii before last year. But it's paradise. Australia is paradise, it's amazing, but I'd been there before (laughs)."
Dot-com: When you go on vacation, do you like spending time relaxing on the beach or doing something active like camping or hiking or sightseeing?
Jackson: "I definitely like spending time on the beach. I'm a beach bum."
Dot-com: What are your favorite WNBA cities to visit?
Jackson: "Probably where my friends are: Phoenix, Indiana and New York."
Dot-com: What's the best WNBA city to shop in?
Jackson: "Seattle, of course. It's amazing! Seattle is the best city in the world! I shop, I enjoy the water, I have friends there, cafes, restaurants I love it."
Dot-com: Which WNBA city has the best restaurants?
Jackson: "I don't go out all that much. In Seattle, I cook for myself a lot. On the road, I'm a room-service kind of girl. I'll usually get either pasta or salad."
Dot-com: Where do you hang out in Seattle?
Jackson: "Kangaroo and Kiwi. It's a good time."
