Kayte Christensen: Confessions of a T.V. Addict

Kayte Christensen of the Phoenix Mercury is back with her commentary on the latest episode of ABC's "The Bachelorette."

Only one week away from Trista’s big choice, last night’s episode had the men “telling all.”

My favorite part of the whole night was when Russ was on the hot seat. Is this guy for real? Does he think that the whole country was getting a snack during his dates with Trista?

The man was all over her during the entire show and then tries to say that he didn’t want to spend the night with her on their fantasy date because he wasn’t feeling it romantically. He had one thing right, he wasn’t feeling it romantically because Trista told him she would have more fun running a marathon in Death Valley in the middle of the summer than spending another minute with this sorry excuse for a man. This is just further evidence that the man is a psychopath and needs to seek professional help before anyone else gets hurt.

Kayte hopes Trista is in love in Vail.

"I grew up on a cattle ranch... But I was pretty embarrassed when [Brook] said he was sticking up for cowboys all over the world. Are you joking me?"
Now lets talk about “Fat Bob.” The guy seriously cracks me up. My favorite thing he said was when he was talking about the radio interview he did when the DJ called him “Fat Bob” and he called him “Stupid Steve.” The funny thing is the whole night the women in the audience where diggin’ him. He is going to have no problem finding himself a woman after his appearance on the show.

As for Brook and all the Cowboys in the world, I must say I am extremely embarrassed. I grew up on a cattle ranch, owned horses and cows, the whole lot. But I was pretty embarrassed when he said he was sticking up for cowboys all over the world. Are you joking me? Is he for real? In my opinion Trista is more than justified to be judgmental and somewhat shallow in the situation she is in. She has to decide in a short amount of time what man she connects best with.

Brook sounds a little saltly because he didn’t get a lot of time with her. She gave him the horse excuse, which may have been a mistake but I think it was her way of trying to justify the fact that she wasn’t feeling Brook, which she shouldn’t have to justify in the first place. Sorry if she isn’t attracted to you, sorry if she doesn’t find you funny or a good conversationalist. You put yourself in the situation in which you know your odds of getting turned down are far greater than not, so deal with it. SHE DOESN’T WANT YOU. It doesn’t mean she doesn’t want all cowboys. She was being nice the first time, but now she just has to be blunt. You don’t do it for her. There; you can sleep easily tonight.

Lastly, Trista did say tonight that she is in love. I hope to God she is in love in Vail, Colo.

Until next week!
