Comets Players Support Habitat for Humanity

HOUSTON (8/16/2008) -- Houston Comets players, business staff, and Rodriguez Roofing teamed up with Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Harris County to build a home for single mother Aida Hernandez, and her two children, 15-year-old Kayla and 12-year-old Josh on Saturday, August 16.

The project is part of the Habitat for Humanity International’s Women Build program that invites women crews to make a difference by building homes and communities. Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that encourages women and girls to make a difference building homes and communities through funding and constructing Habitat homes.
